Instructions
Heat the Zucchi 100% Italian Sustainable Friggimi Frying Oil to frying temperature.
In the meantime, mix the flour with the baking-powder and sugar in a bowl and add the eggs, the melted butter and the tablespoon of Zucchi lemon-flavoured extra virgin olive oil in the middle. Add the milk and mix to form a sticky dough. Add the chocolate chips. When the oil is at the right temperature, collect spoonfuls of the dough and drop them into the oil. They will soon swell up.
Turn them and when they have turned golden brown on all sides, remove them and dry them on kitchen roll. While still hot, dip the fritters in the granulated sugar.
