Zucchi plays a leading role at the Olio Officina Food Festival.

20 January 2015
The fourth edition of the Olio Officina Food Festival will be held from 22 to 24 January at Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan. The event, created and promoted by Luigi Caricato of the Olio Officina Magazine, is aimed at “changing the common approach to oil in the kitchen” and celebrating the undisputed king on every Italian table: extra virgin olive oil.   In such an important setting, you won’t be able to miss Olio Zucchi, which will play a leading role on Friday 23 January with three unmissable events:
  • from 11:15 to 12:15, Giovanni Zucchi will take part in a round table on blending, and will speak about his book “Olive oil doesn’t grow on trees” and the art of blending;
  • from 14:30 to 16:00 the workshop “Blendmaster at work. The creation of a blend” will be held, in which Giovanni Zucchi and Anna Cane will offer participants the chance to take part in the creation of oil blends under their guidance (prior booking required).
  • from 16:15 to 17:15, the two Zucchi experts will lead a tasting of seed oils: pumpkin, sesame, linseed and grape seed.
  This is an important opportunity to find out more about the oil market, which is a source of great pride in the Italian gastronomic world.   If you are lucky enough to be passing through Milan over the coming days, don’t miss this tasty opportunity!
