fine maize flour | 80 G |
large eggs | 3 |
baking powder | 2 level teaspoons |
ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL | 60 ml |
SESAME SEED OIL | 40 ml |
milk | 2 tablespoons |
honey | 60 ML |
lemon zests | to taste |
Salt | 1 pinch |
icing-sugar | q.s. |
Instructions
Heat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the flour with the baking powder, the lemon zests and the salt in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the oils with the honey, milk and eggs.
Pour the liquid ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Line a loaf tin with greaseproof paper and pour the mixture into it.
Bake for 25-30 minutes and test with a skewer to ensure that it is cooked.
Leave to cool on a grille.
Slice the cake, dust with icing-sugar and arrange the slices in pairs, fixing them together with greaseproof paper and kitchen string.
